Electromyography (EMG)

 

Electrodiagnostic medicine, commonly known as EMG, is a diagnostic procedure used to assess the health of muscle and peripheral nerves.  It is the recording of the electrical activity of muscle tissue using electrodes.

General Neurology

 

Neurology is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the nervous system.  Neurology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of all categories of conditions and diseases involving the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves.

Independent Medical Examinations & Expert Testimony

 

Dr. Lubeck performs independent medical examinations and provides expert testimony for both plaintiffs and defense.  His areas of expertise include concussion (traumatic brain injury), nerve injuries,  and cervical and lumbar radiculopathy.  Dr. Lubeck is also examining physician for both the NFL concussion settlement program and NCAA concussion settlement.  As such, he HAS  examined over 100 NFL retirees and his reports have been utilized in determining appropriate compensation. He has testified in Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, US District Court and numerous times in  Pennsylvania Worker's Compensation cases.
